Spontaneous Curriculum :
Spontaneous Curriculum is followed by the school which is wholly compatible with our present day system of early life hood education. It is usable, flexible and adaptable. It leans heavily on the importance of movement in relation to what children learn, overall development rather than are single aspect of growth, the totality of experience rather than isolated parts of it, and creative environments in which both children and adults are encouraged to explore, imagine, invent, innovate, express feelings, display emotions and above all enjoy life. Stepping Stones believes in the primary goals of moment to-moment, hour-to-hour and day-to-day achievement.
“A generally stimulating environment, based on listening, discussion and questioning helps children reach their optimum potential.”
Environment :
Environment envorages a child’s development. It is important to understand that a child’s personality to dependent on what he/she learns fro the environment. The “chip of the old block” theory is long outdated. It is our prior aim to provide, a child friendly environment so that the young children grow up to be complete and happy persons.
Space age teaching methods :
Space age teaching methods followed at Stepping Stones are quite different from the ways that were used to teach in earlier times. The Stepping Stones parents may have to go through a whole new learning process.
Keep pushing – it is wiser, than sitting aside,
And dreaming and Sighing, and waiting the tide.
The identity of each child :
The identity of each child, needs to be respected and taken good care of our aim is to discover the child and to unfold his latent qualities. His natural inclinations should find a suitable outlet, Psychological traits, temperamental characteristics, home conditions and cultural background of each child is considered.
